01.Applicant Data Collection
When you apply to DDC Logistics for an employment, driving, or contractor position, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Name, contact details, and address
- Resume, work history, education, and references
- Driver license information, endorsements, and medical card details (for driving roles)
- DOT-required qualification information, drug-and-alcohol testing history, and motor vehicle records
- Employment eligibility documentation
- Voluntary diversity information, where permitted by law
- Information collected during interviews, assessments, and reference checks
02.Resume Handling
Resumes and application materials are reviewed by DDC Logistics recruiters and hiring managers. Documents are stored in secure recruiting systems and shared internally on a need-to-know basis. We may also share materials with authorized third-party service providers, such as background-check vendors and applicant tracking system providers, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms.
03.Background Checks
Where permitted and consistent with applicable law, DDC Logistics conducts background checks on candidates being considered for employment or driving roles. Checks may include criminal history, motor vehicle records, employment verification, drug-and-alcohol screening, and DOT-required pre-employment investigations. Background checks are performed only after we provide required disclosures and obtain your written authorization.
04.Employment Eligibility
If you are offered a position, we will collect documentation required to verify identity and employment eligibility in the United States (such as Form I-9 documentation). For driving positions, we will also collect documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and applicable state authorities.
05.Data Retention
We retain applicant information for the period necessary to evaluate your candidacy, comply with applicable law, and respond to potential legal claims. For candidates not selected, we may retain records for future opportunities consistent with applicable retention requirements. Driver qualification files and DOT-required records are retained for the time periods mandated by FMCSA regulations.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the information we hold about you as an applicant
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdraw your application at any time
